As we are home in the US on home ministry assignment raising support and preparing to go back to ministry in Colombia, it's neat to look back to our time of preparation 5 years ago to serve in Colombia. This was taken during our month long missions training, Intercultural Communications Course at JAARS in Waxhaw, NC. These are our children who initially went with us to South America. Our oldest was in college at the time and did not go with us. During our 4 years in South America, one by one the older ones returned to the US, 2 for college, 1 to get married. And the younger ones basically grew up in South America, first in Peru for language school and the remaining time in Colombia. This picture is a reminder of how much they grew up while we were in South America; they were so little when we left!
Today we are on day 3 of our drive to Los Angelos. We will be stopping in Alabama tonight to visit Cristi's aunt and uncle and share at their church. Please pray for us as we share and as we travel. Thank you to those of you who have supported this ministry through the years.
