Tonight I do have a specific request to share. One of Chris' ministries at La Iglesia Castillo Fuerte is preaching the last Sunday of every month. He is preaching tomorrow morning. Last month he started a sermon series on the names of God. Tomorrow he is preaching on the name Adonai and what it looks like to make God Lord of our life. It is such a good sermon and has challenged and inspired me this week as he has shared various parts of what God was showing him with me and the kids. I am so proud of him for the dedication and time he takes studying and preparing the sermons and then writing them out in Spanish. This month he wrote the whole thing in Spanish from the start and then had some friends look it over to help correct his Spanish or unclear wording where it needed it and help him with pronunciation. Thanks for your prayers for both of us in the areas of speaking and understanding Spanish. It is definitely getting easier. We ask that you pray for tomorrow's sermon, both for Chris as he preaches it and for the hearts of those of us in the congregation tomorrow that we will be open and ready to recieve, understand, and apply God's word to our lives as the Holy Spirit reveals his truths for our lives. I am so excited for him to share this message God has given to him.
One other prayer request. Please pray for Trinity because she has conjunctivitis(pink eye) in both eyes and they were hurting her pretty badly tonight. Please pray that the rest of us don't get it, especially Chris for tomorrow. He needs to be well, :)
In Christ's love.
