Stay Tuned!

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving, ours was pretty awesome!  We spent it here at home and we had Knyanna's birth mom and oldest brother and sisters over.  I never thought we would have such an excellent relationship with them. They are truly part of our family.
Sunday we were blessed to speak at Bryant Community Church.  Pastor Barnett had an awesome introduction for us.  He asked who was at the church in 1978.  I had to think for a minute and then realized we came to the church the end of summer in 1978 so I got to raise my hand along with a few others.  My family moved from Valois, New York to Washington so my dad could pastor Victoria Chapel Church that is now Bryant Community Church.  I turned 7 years old on that trip and got this huge plate of liver and onions in the middle of nowhere for my birthday meal.  It was at this church where I dedicated my life to Christ and started on my christian journey.  After the service Tammy Wold showed us an old black and white picture of the church congregation when we were there in the early 80's.  So many good memories of good people. Who would have thought I would be back there many years later telling the church about our missionary journey. We were blessed by prayer and fellowship and had some more people join our financial support team.
We are currently hovering around 20% monthly funding and 20% on our one time needs.  If you would like to give to join our financial support team you can goto www.southamericamission.org and click on the donate now link.  You can set up an automatic withdrawal by clicking give by automatic withdrawal and filling out the paperwork or give by debit/credit card by filling in the spaces below Giving by credit card.
Stay tuned, Cristi is going to be posting next and she is a much better writer than I am.  Chris

  1. I've enjoyed your posts. I bet it was quite strange being back there in the role you have now. I'm very proud of you and your sweet family. Love you! Mom
