"I am not that high"
Those are the words that I never thought I would hear flow so smoothly from my son Andrews mouth.  No sense of remorse or regret.  Of course this is what he said while he was in the dentist chair on laughing gas.  You see, I had just asked him what girl he liked.  He still says he doesn't like anyone girl right now.  Can't blame a dad for trying.  Andrew got all four wisdom teeth pulled and now his cheeks are all puffed out.  The dentist said most of them came out pretty easy, but one gave him some trouble.  It reminded me of my christian life.  It was easy to give up certain areas of my life to Christ.  He was able to just pull those areas right away from me, but then there are those areas  I try to hold onto.  I don't want to give them up.  How much more fulfilling life would be if we just gave up everything willingly instead of trying to hang on to things we shouldn't.  If you are looking for a good christian dentist and live in our area I would recommend Dr. Nordberg.  Here is his website:  http://kimnordberg.com/.

You can view the video of Andrew on my facebook page.

This week please pray that we get work done around the house so we can put it up on the market for sale or rent, continue to pray for us as we raise support, pray that we find a home for shadow.
